Subscriptions

The Transporter Portal offers three subscription plans to match your fleet size and reporting needs. All new accounts start with a 7-day free trial on the Standard plan.

Choosing a Plan

Which plan is right for you?

  • Basic (KES 3,000/mo) -- ideal for owner-operators with a small fleet who need basic weighing record access
  • Standard (KES 5,000/mo) -- suited for mid-size transporters who need full history, driver reports, and cargo analysis
  • Premium (KES 15,000/mo) -- designed for large fleet operators who need API integration, unlimited access, discrepancy alerts, and custom branding

Managing Your Subscription

Upgrading

  1. Navigate to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the new plan.
  4. The upgrade takes effect immediately; you are charged the prorated difference for the current billing period.

Downgrading

  1. Navigate to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the lower plan.
  4. The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Data access on downgrade

If you downgrade to a plan with shorter history retention, you will lose access to older records (though they are not deleted). Upgrading again restores access.

Cancellation

  1. Navigate to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Click Cancel Subscription.
  3. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  4. After cancellation, you can still log in but only see the account settings page.

Billing cycle

  • Plans are billed monthly on the same date each month (based on your signup date)
  • Invoices are generated automatically and available under Settings > Billing History
  • Payment reminders are sent 3 days before the due date

Failed payments

If a payment fails:

  1. Your account enters a 7-day grace period during which full access is maintained.
  2. A payment retry is attempted daily during the grace period.
  3. If payment is not received within 7 days, the account is suspended (read-only access to settings only).
  4. Pay any outstanding balance to immediately restore full access.

Free Trial

  • All new accounts receive a 7-day free trial on the Standard plan
  • No payment method is required to start the trial
  • At the end of the trial, you are prompted to select a plan
  • If no plan is selected, the account is suspended until a subscription is activated
